1982 BMW 633 CSi
The first generation of the BMW 6 series came with the E24 which was released in 1976. These grand tourer cars were only available as a 2 door coupe and production took a hiatus in 1989 before the E63 returned in 2004. This one is a 1982 and in '82 the cars received a face lift with some exterior redesigns as well as changes with the engines, chassis, suspension, electrical, and interior. Although other countries various models were sold but in North America due to the need of extended bumpers the length increased 7.1 inches. This clean 633CSi is a great running classic with 55,537 original miles. It is all rust free and painted in its original Safari Beige paint. It is clear that this survivor has been very well maintained since new. It has its original US required safety bumpers in front/rear which are a combo of chrome and Black paint. All of the exterior electrical is working properly with no problems and the glass is all good as well. The stainless window trim all has a nice shine throughout and the weatherstripping seals up well. The wheels are the original 14 inch German cross spoke wheels with BMW center caps which are wrapped with Kumho Solus tires.
Under the forward tilting hood is the cars original M30B32 3.2 L Inline 6 motor. Everything has been kept very stock looking in the engine compartment. The car runs well and never misses a needed tune up or oil change. A lot of these came with manual transmission but this one was factory ordered with the optional 3 speed automatic. The car is mechanically sound with no issues.
The interior is its original Tan upholstery and is in great condition considering its age. It has adjustable high back bucket seats up front with headrests. In between is the emergency brake handle as well as the center console to house the t-handle shifter and power window controls. The dash has been kept very original looking with all of its stock gauges, knobs, switches, warning lights, and AM/FM/Cassette player. The AC/Heat system is working properly and blows cold. The trunk is nicely carpeted and in good condition.
This nice BMW will make someone a great driver and also comes with its original manual and BMW tool kit.
