1958 CMC Speedster Replica

This 1958 Speedster replica was built by Classic Motor Carriages (CMC) in Miami, Florida. Founded in 1973, CMC is the largest Speedster replica manufacturer in the country, selling several hundred kits & factory cars a year.

This particular car was completed a few years back, was first registered in 2020, and only has 10,412 miles on the odometer. Its finished in the very rare Primrose Yellow, and includes vintage steering wheel & side mirrors, gold Speedster emblems & accents, chrome replica wheels & hubcaps, and authentic looking bucket seats. Every effort was made to give this vehicle the proper look of a true Speedster!

Under the hood is a new VW 1600cc dual-port engine with only 2,000 miles!! The engine was built with Weber carburetor & extended oil sump for better lubrication, and just had a recent tune-up that included new battery, distributor cap & generator which now charges the vehicle to 13.6 volts. The engine is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission.

This beautiful recreation comes with black convertible top & side curtains, a clean & functional interior, and a front trunk compartment with proper leather tie-downs!
