I did a complete body and paint and interior restoration on a very solid Montana car. Mechanically, It is a correct Max Wedge clone. The 426 Max Wedge is a correct Super Stock Motor with 750 Roller cam and 12.5 to 1 compression. It has a copy cat motor of the Mr. Wood 64 Plymouth motor driven by Andy Boadwin and build by Bob Hickman of Riverside Ca.in 1973 Andy set the SS/DA record with that car at 10:4. It has a race ready 727 manual shift torqueflite transmission with a special 5000 RPM stall converter that works well on the street and great on the Drag strip. The rear 8 3/4 Chrysler differential has a special Randys Ring Gear heavy duty third member with 4;10 gears and sure grip. It has the correct Chrysler Max Wedge exhaust pipes with the factory cut outs and Hooker headers.This car runs very hard and fast on the street. I have never run it on the Drag Strip.
