We changed the oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the front brake hoses, front brake pads, tongue bushing, leaf spring rubbers, complete carpet set, and much more.
The last owner did a whole bunch of mechanical upgrades to this corvette since buying it in 2009. He replaced the front brake cable, sway bar links and bushings, shocks, front springs, control arm bushings, power steering ram, power steering control valve, power steering hoses, transmission converter, leaf spring, leaf spring rubbers, strut rods, idler arm, ball joints, radiator, core support, front brake line, wiring harness, transmission shift module, fuel pump, power steering pump seat covers, and much more. He also rebuilt the engine with HEI ignition, Summit Racing aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, harmonic balancer, cam, lifters, roller timing chain, starter, alternator, and much more.
This corvette runs and drives really nice.
This was the first year for rubber bumpers on both front and rear, and the only year for a split rear bumper.
