1965 Chevrolet Biscayne Overview

The 1965 Chevrolet Biscayne is part of the fourth generation of this model. It is a full-size car featuring rear-wheel drive. The base Biscayne was fitted with a robust 230 cubic inches (3.8L) Turbo Thrift six-cylinder engine producing 140 horsepower, but there were significant options for upgrades up to a hefty 409 cubic inches (6.7L) Turbo-Jet V8 engine that thumped out up to 400 horsepower. There was also the popular 283 cubic inches (4.6L) Turbo-Fire V8 option, pushing out 195 horsepower. These engines were mated with three available transmission options: 3-Speed Manual, 4-Speed Manual, and 2-Speed Powerglide automatic. Being a car from the mid-1960s, it does not come with modern safety, infotainment, or tech features. However, its simplistic nature and vintage charm have earned it a beloved spot in the realm of classic American automobiles.
