The 2004 Cadillac XLR marked the introduction of Cadillac's luxury roadster, kicking off its short production run that ended in 2009. It features a Northstar 4.6L V8 engine that cranks out 320 horsepower, coupled with a 5-speed automatic. The XLR offers a rear wheel drive layout and utilizes Magnetic Ride Control for a polished ride, balancing comfort and agility. Inside, the retractable hardtop convertible is packed with luxury touches such as heated and cooled leather seats, dual-zone climate control, navigation, and a heads-up display. Bose provides the impressive sound system, complete with a 6-disc CD changer. Notably, the XLR was one of the first vehicles to introduce adaptive cruise control as an option, along with key safety features like stability control and ABS brakes.
