The 2016 BMW X4 is a part of the model's first generation that was launched in 2014. This luxury compact SUV is an all-wheel-drive vehicle with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It is offered in two trims: xDrive28i and the M40i. The xDrive28i comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 240 horsepower, while the M40i sports a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder that puts out 355 horsepower. Both trims come with BMW's iDrive infotainment system with a 6.5-inch display. Safety features for all 2016 X4 models include front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, active front head restraints, antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, and a rearview camera. The M40i also includes a sport exhaust system, sport steering wheel, and sporty exterior trim.
