2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV Overview

The 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV, part of the fourth generation Escalade introduced in 2015, is a full-size luxury SUV revered for opulent styling and robust performance. It comes packed with a 6.2 L V8 engine delivering 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and available either in 2WD or 4WD. The ESV variant offers more space and legroom compared to the standard model. There are four trim levels available: base, Luxury, Premium and Platinum. Driver assistance technologies, such as the forward collision alert, lane keeping assist, and blind spot detection are standard for safety. Infotainment includes a standard 8-inch touchscreen CUE system, integrated with navigation, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a premium 16-speaker Bose Centerpoint audio system. For 2016, key changes include an enhanced CUE system with integration of Apple CarPlay and lane keeping assist.
