2016 Kia Sportage Overview

The 2016 Kia Sportage is part of the model's third generation, offering impressive blend of style, comfort, and utility. The compact SUV is available in three trims: LX, EX and SX Turbo. Under the hood, the LX and EX are powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 182 horsepower, while the SX Turbo houses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 260 horsepower. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and are available in either front- or all-wheel drive. Safety features include stability and traction control, antilock disc brakes, hill-start assist and downhill brake control, and more. The high-tech cabin showcases key infotainment features like a 4.3-inch or 7-inch touchscreen, rearview camera, six-speaker sound system with satellite radio, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, etc. The Sportage hasn't received significant changes for the 2016 model year.
