The 2016 Nissan Pathfinder is a midsize SUV part of the model’s fourth generation. It comes equipped with either front- or all-wheel-drive configurations with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) to complement its sole 3.5-liter V6 engine pumping out 260 horsepower. Available in four trim levels—S, SV, SL, and Platinum—There is enough variety to cater to most needs. All models come standard with prominent safety features such as stability and traction control, antilock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags that cover all three rows of seats. Infotainment-wise, a 7-inch central display, satellite radio, and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player come standard. Any model year modifications were minor and largely based on feature shuffling amongst the different trims.
