2017 Toyota 86 Overview

The 2017 Toyota 86 is a sporty, affordable coupe that was introduced in its first generation in 2012. It features a 2.0-liter flat-four engine mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 205 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque with the manual transmission, or 200 horsepower and 151 lb-ft with the automatic. The 86 is rear-wheel drive, contributing to its fun-to-drive nature. Standard key features include a touchscreen, rear view camera, eight-speaker audio system, and Bluetooth. The 2017 model year saw a minor refresh, giving the 86 revised exterior styling, a few interior updates, and slightly tweaked suspension settings. It also saw the Scion FR-S rebadged as the Toyota 86 after Scion's demise.
