The 2018 BMW 3 Series is part of the model's sixth generation and continues to embody the brand’s commitment to driving dynamics, luxury, and innovation. It's available in multiple models, including the sedan, wagon, and sporty M3 variant. Under the hood, engine options vary from a 180-hp turbo-4 in the 320i, up to a 320-hp turbo-6 in the 340i and a 425-hp twin-turbocharged I-6 in the M3. All are mated to an 8-speed automatic, though a 6-speed manual is available for the M3. Drive configuration is primarily rear-wheel-drive, with available xDrive AWD on select models. The 3 Series came well-equipped in terms of technology and amenities, with key features including a 6.5-inch infotainment display, Apple CarPlay, BMW's iDrive system and a suite of safety features including standard rearview camera and available Active Blind Spot Detection. For 2018, LED headlights became standard, and touchscreen functionality was introduced.
