The 2019 BMW 4 Series is part of the model's first generation, a sport-focused luxury midsize vehicle available in coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe four-door body styles. Power comes from a 248-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine for the 430i, while the 440i packs a 320-hp turbo-six. Both options are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with a standard rear-wheel drive and optional all-wheel drive. The four trims -- Sport, Luxury, M Sport, and M Performance -- allow for a great deal of customization. Inside, there is a 6.5" or 8.8" screen supporting Apple CarPlay and BMW’s proprietary iDrive infotainment system.
