The 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class is a thrilling addition to the compact luxury segment, offered in two trims: the A220 and A220 4MATIC. Both trims receive power from a 2.0L turbocharged inline-four engine, making 188 horsepower, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The A220 is FWD while the A220 4MATIC features AWD. Inside, the A-Class showcases a standard 7-inch or optional 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, running the new MBUX software for a seamlessly connected motoring experience, complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Active safety features are also abundant: active brake assist, crosswind assist, and attention assist all illustrate the A-Class' focus on safety. The 2019 model year brought the A-Class to the US for the first time.
