The 2019 MINI Hardtop 4 Door is part of the third-gen F56 model, known for its British charm melded with a fun-to-drive nature. Among the trims available, Cooper, Cooper S, and the top-tier John Cooper Works, each offers its distinct engine setup - a 134-hp turbo-3 for Cooper, a 189-hp turbo-4 for Cooper S, and a powerhouse 228-hp turbo-4 for John Cooper Works. All trims come standard with a 6-speed manual transmission with the option of a 6-speed automatic, barring the John Cooper Works trim which offers an 8-speed automatic. Front-wheel-drive is standard across all trims. The MINI's tech package includes a 6.5" or 8.8" touchscreen with Apple CarPlay (but not Android Auto), while safety features like automated emergency braking and forward-collision warning remain optional. For 2019, the Hardtop 4 Door saw an updated design with optional LED headlights and Union Jack-themed taillights.
