The 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid joined the CR-V lineup as the first electrified SUV from the Honda brand in America. The CR-V Hybrid comes as an AWD variant and is powered by a 2.0-liter DOHC i-VTEC Atkinson-cycle engine combined with an electric motor, allowing it to produce a total of 212 horsepower. It uses an e-CVT transmission, with generous fuel efficiency ratings. The model boasts of three driving modes - EV Drive, Hybrid Drive, and Engine Drive. The CR-V Hybrid is available in four trims: LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring. Standard features include automatic climate control, push-button start, and a 5-inch infotainment screen. Higher trims like the EX sees the inclusion of a 7-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a host of driver-assist technologies like collision mitigation braking, forward collision warning, and lane-keeping assist due to the Honda Sensing Suite. The Touring trim adds amenities like a hands-free power tailgate, wireless phone charger, and premium audio.
