The 2020 Subaru BRZ is a compact sports coupe noted for its light weight, low center of gravity, and athletic handling. Two trims are available, the Limited and tS; both feature a 2.0-liter flat-four engine delivering 205 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque, standard with a six-speed manual transmission. An automatic transmission is optional, but it reduces engine output to 200 hp. The BRZ is rear-wheel drive, a rarity within Subaru's lineup. The interior offers sport seats, a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a rearview camera. For 2020, the tS model returns to the lineup, featuring STI-tuned front and rear Sachs dampers and coil springs, large rear spoiler, and Brembo brakes. The 2020 Subaru BRZ has not been rated by NHTSA for safety.
