The 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport is a compact crossover but somewhat bigger than the subcompact category which Nissan slots it into. Part of the second Rogue Sport generation introduced for 2017, it comes with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine delivering 141 horsepower, matched with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Front-wheel drive is standard while all-wheel drive is optional. It is available in three trims: S, SV, and SL, each increasingly well equipped. Nissan's Safety Shield 360, a suite of advanced driver aids including automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning and lane departure warning is standard across all trims. Infotainment is handled by a standard 7-inch touchscreen along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. For 2021, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert were added to the base S trim, making it a remarkably safe and technology-packed crossover in its class.
