The 2021 Toyota Venza is a mid-sized crossover SUV returning to the lineup after a five-year hiatus. It enters the segment as a wholly hybrid model available in three trims: LE, XLE, and Limited. Equipped with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine paired with three electric motors, the Venza delivers a modest but sufficient 219 horsepower. The setup comes solely with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT) and standard electronic on-demand all-wheel drive. On the technology front, the Venza boasts an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system for lower trims and a larger 12.3-inch for the top Limited trim. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa compatibility come standard across all trims. The Venza also leads in safety, featuring the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite with lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection among others.
