The 2021 Volvo S90 is part of the flagship luxury lineup from the Swedish automaker, Volvo. Available in three trims: Momentum, Inscription, and R-Design, all trims are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with either a turbocharger and supercharger (316 hp) or a turbocharger, supercharger, and electric motor (400 hp in T8 Plug-In Hybrid models). All S90s use an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Significant for the 2021 model year, Volvo discontinued the S90's front-wheel drive and all trims now come standard with all-wheel drive. The S90 also refreshed its exterior design for 2021 and added more rear legroom. Notable features include a 9-inch Sensus touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the Volvo Pilot Assist semi-autonomous driving system. The S90 also proudly boasts standard safety features like forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist.
