The 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is an all-electric compact SUV and the first model in Hyundai's new electric sub-brand, Ioniq. The Ioniq 5 offers a choice between a Standard Range model, which carries a 58 kWh battery with an RWD powertrain, and a Long Range model, equipped with a 77.4 kWh battery which can be had in RWD or AWD configuration. The longest-ranged variant offers up to 300 miles of driving range. The Ioniq 5 is powered by a 225-hp electric motor with the rear-wheel-drive setup, while the all-wheel-drive models utilize a pair of motors to deliver an impressive 320 horsepower. Inside, an array of tech features include a dual-cockpit consisting of 12.3" full-touch infotainment screen and a customizable 12.3" digital gauge cluster. In terms of safety, it encompasses Hyundai’s SmartSense suite which includes features such as forward collision avoidance assist, blind spot collision avoidance assist, intelligent speed limit assist.
