The 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class represents the fifth-generation of the German automaker's popular luxury sedan. The model brings with it a single powertrain, a 2.0-liter inline-four turbocharged engine that produces 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and RWD as standard, 4MATIC AWD is optional. The new C-Class comes in two available trims: C 300 and C 300 4MATIC. Standard features include a 11.9-inch central touchscreen oriented vertically and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, both running Mercedes' latest MBUX infotainment system with natural voice recognition. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration is standard. Safety encompasses a solid range of standards including automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring. This model year brought significant changes to its exterior design language, borrowing styling cues from the larger, and more expensive, S-Class with a more streamlined, luxurious aesthetic.
