The 2022 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport, now in its third model year, has seen a few changes to its lineup. This mid-size, two-row SUV packs a Full Motion all-wheel-drive system, associated with either a standard 235-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or an optional 276-hp 3.6-liter V6. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard across all models. The Atlas Cross Sport offers three core trims: SE, SEL, and SEL R-Line, each providing upgraded luxury and technology features. Key safety features include blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision warning, automatic-emergency braking, and a rearview camera. For 2022, Volkswagen has introduced a new tech interface that includes an 8.0" or optional 10.3" touchscreen, while wireless charging and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard.
