The 2023 Subaru BRZ is a sprightly 2-door sports coupe with an emphasis on handling and balance. Now into its second generation, the BRZ continues its tradition of a swiftly revving 2.4L horizontally opposed boxer engine, which has received a potency increase to 228 horsepower. Power is sent to the rear wheels, an unusual trait for Subaru's mostly AWD lineup. The BRZ comes with either a standard 6-speed manual or an optional 6-speed automatic transmission. Despite its performance orientation, the BRZ also accommodates everyday usability with a pleasurable ride and a reasonable trunk. Inside are features like an 8-inch infotainment touch screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assist technology, which includes adaptive cruise control and pre-collision braking, is available on the automatic transmission model.
