The Nissan Sentra, refreshed for the 2025 model year, continues to set itself apart in the compact sedan segment. It's a part of the eighth-generation Sentra family that debuted in 2020. Nissan offers the Sentra with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that churns out 149 horsepower, paired with an Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). For now, the Sentra remains front-wheel drive only. It comes in four trims: S, SV, SR, and SR Premium. For safety, the Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard across all trims, featuring automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, blind spot warning, and lane departure warning. As for infotainment, the Sentra provides either a 7-inch touchscreen on basic trims or an 8-inch on higher trims. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, with NissanConnect Services as an available tech feature for personalized alerts and remote access to the vehicle via an app. The 2025 Sentra sees the addition of the new SR Premium trim that offers more luxury and tech options.
