What’s New for the 2025 Chrysler Voyager?

The 2025 Chrysler Voyager is the first model since the 2021 Voyager that’s been available anything outside of fleet-only purchases. Regular car buyers wanting to use the Voyager as a daily driver have been out of luck since then. So, now that it’s back on the retail market, what kind of updates have been made to entice car buyers, especially with more competition, including electrified seven-seaters.

Well, more features that used to be upgrades have been made standard. That includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a seven-inch digital gauge cluster, synthetic leather upholstery, and wireless Android and Apple integration. There are a handful of driver assistance features that you’ll learn about a little bit later, too. Basically, if you like the Chrysler Pacifica, but don’t like the Pacifica’s pricing, the Voyager is your van.

Since there’s just one trim level, there’s also just one engine. There’s no turbo option here, but the 2025 Voyager does run on a 3.6-liter V6 that puts out 287 horsepower with the help of a nine-speed automatic transmission. That combination provides for some relatively smooth handling. There’s still enough power to be had with a full vanload of passengers.

2025 Chrysler Voyager Interior 7.75/10

The inside of the 2025 Voyager is as luxury as it might be. You’ll notice a lot of the Pacifica in here, but the Voyager doesn’t have as many amenities. For example, there’s no sunroof or auto-dimming rearview mirror. There are no memory settings for the driver’s seats or voice-activated air conditioning. However, all seats are made of synthetic leather and the Voyager’s got dual-zone front air conditioning.

Sitting on 17-inch wheels, the Voyager rides comfortably and there’s plenty of legroom, no matter where you are seated. The front row gives passengers 41.1” of legroom, the second row provides 39”, and the third row, although smaller, still has 36.5” of legroom for passengers. The downside here is that second-row captain’s chairs are mandatory while competitors like the Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey, and Kia Carnival all have available eight-seat configurations.

The 2025 Chrysler Voyager shares the same cargo space numbers as the 2021 version: 32.3 cu. ft. of space behind the last row, 87.5 cu. ft. of space behind the second row, and a maximum of 140.5 cu. ft. of space behind the first row with all seats folded down. The third-row bench folds in a 60-40 split. Not only that, the second and third rows have the extremely convenient Stow ‘n Go features that Chrysler also uses in the Pacifica. The entire seat folds completely into the floor, so hauling large objects or lots of luggage is a breeze.

2025 Chrysler Voyager Technology Features 8/10

There’s plenty of tech inside and out, whether it’s to add passenger comfort or provide an easier driving experience. Inside are heated driver and passenger seats. The driver’s seat also has eight-way driver seat settings.

The 2025 Voyager only has six speakers, so there’s no premium audio system, but it’s got SiriusXM, satellite radio, and Android and Apple compatibility. Bluetooth is also included. Chrysler’s Uconnect 5 system also allows smartphones (or other devices) to connect to the vehicle’s infotainment system. A large 10.1-inch touchscreen can also be used to control a lot of the cabin infotainment, but there are knobs and buttons to control audio, parking sensors, and air conditioning. There’s also a larger shifter knob.

For driver assistance features, that means you’ll get a blind spot detection warning, a forward collision warning with full-speed collision mitigation, and a rear park assist with parking sensors. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) both gave the 2025 Voyager good safety scores, although those scores were based on the testing of 2017 models. The IIHS did note a poor rating on the headlights because of excessive glare when using low beams.

2025 Chrysler Voyager Trims and Pricing

LX – $39,995

The 2025 Chrysler Voyager has just one trim level, which is the LX. So, everything that the Voyager has to offer is included. The 2025 LX has all the previously mentioned infotainment, cabin comforts, and safety features. It’s also got a power liftgate, steering wheel audio controls, and USB ports. If you want anything more than that, you’ll have to move up to the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica and the price tag that comes along with it. We’ve got a full 2025 Pacifica review that goes into all those details.

2025 Chrysler Voyager Overall Value 8/10

With just one trim, that decision about which 2025 Voyager to choose is already made for you. There’s certainly some competition to consider. Just take a look at our list of the Best Minivans of 2024, which includes the more luxurious Chrysler Pacifica, the Toyota Sienna, the Honda Odyssey, and the Kia Carnival. The lower trims in most of those models start at the price you’ll pay for a 2025 Voyager. So, you’ll get more options and upgrades with the competition, but you’ll also probably pay more for it.

The warranties on the 2025 Chrysler Voyager are fairly standard. You’ll get a 36-month or 36,000-mile basic warranty. Roadside assistance and a powertrain warranty are both good for 60 months or 60,000 miles.

One trim and everything is included. On the one hand, you get every feature with your purchase. On the other, if you want upgrades like a sunroof or memory-function/controlled seats, you’re out of luck. The 2025 Voyager doesn’t have all-wheel drive while others, like the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna, do. It also doesn’t have a hybrid option like the Kia Carnival, Chrysler Pacifica, and Toyota Sienna.

Now that we’ve talked about what it doesn’t offer, let’s be clear about what it does. For a minimized version of the Pacifica, the 2025 Voyager isn’t bad. It’s a seven-passenger, FWD minivan that’s equipped with your standard infotainment and driver assist features, all for under $40,000. That’s not bad. It’s just a minivan that’s specifically for cost-oriented buyers out there.
