The all-new, first-generation 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV enters the light truck market as a full-sized battery-electric pickup. It is built on GM's Ultium platform and maintains a solid stance with a mix of conventional and future-centric design elements. Equipped with a four-wheel-drive drivetrain, the Silverado EV uses a dual-motor electric powertrain with up to 664 horsepower. The truck comes in two key trims: the WT (Work Truck) and the range-topping, adventure-oriented RST. Key safety features include standard automated emergency braking and optional adaptive cruise control. Additional tech features include GM's Super Cruise hands-free driving aid, a 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 2024 model year marks Chevrolet's first EV pickup and a significant expansion of Chevrolet's electric vehicle lineup.
