The 2024 Subaru Solterra represents Subaru’s foray into the market of fully electric SUVs. It sports a respectable all-wheel-drive system as an EV derivative of its traditional symmetrical AWD. There aren’t many options when it comes to the powertrain; this model features a single motor setup with a respectable output of 215 horsepower. Subaru offers four trim levels - the Base, Premium, Limited, and Touring. The Solterra comes loaded with safety features under the Subaru EyeSight umbrella, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, and lane keep assist. There's a plethora of tech features, including a large 12.3-inch infotainment display with smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a soon-to-be-launched Subaru Connect Telematics System. As this is Subaru's first battery-electric vehicle, it represents a significant step forward for the brand.
