The 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning is part of the 14th generation of the F-150 series and represents Ford's new innovation into the realm of electric trucks. Standard with an all-electric, all-wheel-drive powertrain that produces 563 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque on premium models. There are four available trims including the Pro, XLT, Lariat, and Platinum. New this model year is the standard range battery which provides an EPA-estimated range of 230 miles, with an available extended range option yielding 320 miles. Recharging from 15% to 80% can take as little as 41 minutes at a DC Fast Charging Station. Key infotainment and tech features include a massive 15.5-inch touchscreen for Ford's Sync 4A system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a new intelligent range feature that calculates range remaining based on weather, terrain, towing weights, and other factors. Key safety features include Ford's Co-Pilot360 2.0 suite of advanced driver assist systems like Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Information System, Lane-Keeping System, Post-Collision Braking, Reverse Brake Assist and more.
