2026 Ford Mustang Overview

The 2026 Ford Mustang, in its sixth-generation, is a rear-wheel-drive sports car that is available both as a coupe and a convertible. The car offers two engines: a 2.3L turbo-4 that produces 310 horsepower and a 5.0L V8 that delivers up to 450 horsepower. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic. The newest model features a range of trims, with the base model housing an 8-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Ford's SYNC3 infotainment system. On the safety tech front, Ford equips the 2026 Mustang with a host of driver assistance features, including Ford's Co-Pilot360 technology, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. Additionally, any changes from the previous model year are yet to be announced.
