The 2026 Jeep Cherokee is part of the SUV's fifth generation and continues to be a prominent player in the compact SUV segment. It features a standard 180-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, with optional 271-hp 3.2-liter V6 and 270-hp 2.0-liter turbo-four engines. Both come paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and offer both front-wheel and four-wheel drive options. The Cherokee offers five trims: Latitude, Latitude LUX, Limited, Trailhawk, and High Altitude. The infotainment system includes a standard 7-inch or an optional 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Safety features include available blind-spot monitoring, full-speed forward collision warning, and lane departure warning.
