2026 Volkswagen Atlas Overview

The 2026 Volkswagen Atlas is a midsize SUV known for its spacious interior and user-friendly technology. Available with FWD and optional 4WD, it comes with three rows seating up to seven. The Atlas provides two engine choices: a 235-hp 2.0L turbo-four and a 276-hp 3.6L V6, both paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Trims range from the base-level S to the fully-loaded SEL Premium. Standard infotainment system features a 6.5" touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi hotspot. Higher trims offer a larger 8" screen, navigation, and a Fender audio system. Key safety features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, and rear traffic alert. Additional technologies involve adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, automatic high-beam headlights, parking sensors, and a surround-view parking camera system.
