The 2017 Jeep Cherokee is a mid-size SUV that comes from the model’s fourth generation. It comes with two engine options: a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 184 horsepower and a 3.2-liter V6 producing 271 horsepower. Both engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, and while front-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive and 4WD systems are also available. The Cherokee comes in various trims such as Sport, Latitude, Trailhawk, Limited, and Overland. The car is equipped with Uconnect infotainment system that includes a 5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker audio system, while larger screens and navigation are available in the higher trims. Safety features include standard rearview camera and optional advanced features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning. The 2017 model sees few changes, with HID headlights now standard on all but the base Sport model.
