The 2018 BMW X3 is part of its third generation, and it's a pioneer in BMW's luxury compact SUV lineup. All-wheel drive is standard and power comes from one of two engine options: a 248-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the xDrive30i model and a 355-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder in the sporty M40i variant. Both engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Notable features include an 8.8" or an optional 10.3" infotainment screen with navigation, Apple CarPlay, and voice recognition. The X3 also features advanced safety systems such as lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and low-speed automatic emergency braking. For 2018, BMW gave the X3 notable upgrades such as a new exterior design and a freshened interior.
