2019 Volkswagen Atlas Overview

The 2019 Volkswagen Atlas is a three-row midsize SUV that comes as the second model year of the Atlas' first-generation. The Atlas is available in five main trim levels: S, SE, SE with Technology, SEL, and SEL Premium. Powering the Atlas is a choice of two engines: a standard 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder with 235 horsepower or an optional 3.6L V6 with 276 horsepower, both mated to an 8-speed automatic. Drivetrain options include FWD or optional AWD for the V6. Inside, you'll find a 6.5" or 8" touchscreen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety features include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. Notable for 2019 is the pairing of once-optional features into standard equipment.
