The 2026 HR-V continues with Honda’s 2.0L inline-four engine, producing 158 hp and 138 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a continuously variable transmission and comes with standard front-wheel drive. Real Time All-Wheel Drive with Honda’s Intelligent Control available across all trims.

At the very top of the trim, the 2026 Honda HR-V EX-L comes with leather trimmed seats, 18-inch allow wheels, parking sensors, dual-zone climate control along with an 8-speaker sound system and power moonroof. These near-luxury upgrades will set you back $30,050 for the FWD version and $31,550 for the AWD.
Compared to rivals like the Subaru Crosstrek and Toyota Corolla Cross, however both rivals have added hybrid powertrains which is something the HR-V lacks.
