The 2026 Ram 1500 offers three strong engine options: a 305-hp 3.6L V6, a 395-hp 5.7L HEMI V8, and a new 3.0L Hurricane twin-turbo inline-6 with over 420 hp and 469 lb-ft of torque.
Regardless of engine choice, all powertrains come with an 8-speed automatic transmission. When properly equipped, towing tops out at 11,470 lbs. Ride quality is exceptional, especially with the available air suspension.
2026 Ram 1500 Interior 8/10
The 2026 Ram 1500 is available in a quad or crew cab. Depending on the configuration, it seats up to six people. For those looking for the most space for passengers we recommend the crew cab configuration which offers a best in class 45.2 inches of rear legroom.
Materials run from standard cloth seating in the lower trim levels, all the way to leather and wood trims at the top of the range. Cabin storage is impressive with a huge center console and under seat bins in the back row.
Standard bucket seats with four-way manual adjustment are standard in the lower trim levels, while on the Limited trim and up you can expect an eight-way powered driver seat with amenities like heating, ventilation, and messaging. Not features you’d see in the working trucks back in the day, but a welcome addition for weary backs.
Even without all of the high-end features, the cabin is a nice place to spend time. The cabin is well laid out, and highway noise is kept to a minimum. Which will be appreciated for those longer road trips.

Infotainment is a highlight for the 2026 Ram 1500. Touchscreens measuring 8.4, 12, or 14.5 inches sit in the center of the dashboard. The Uconnect 5 system that powers the screens is responsive and powerful, allowing the driver to run two different apps on the 14.5-inch screen.
Standard safety tech includes rearview camera and blind spot monitoring. Available safety tech includes adaptive cruise control, lane assist and hands-free driving assistance.
Trailer tech is available to help you navigate your trailer with ease, including reverse steering control, trailer health monitor, digital rear view mirror with towing mode, and auto hitch assistance.

Starting at an MSRP of $41,025 the Tradesmen is a no-frills version of the Ram 1500 made for the jobsite. Features include standard 18-inch wheels, a basic 8.4-inch touchscreen, and basic towing gear.
For the everyday driver, we recommend looking at the Laramie trim, with a starting MSRP of $61,075, you get 20-inch wheels, standard 12-inch infotainment system, optional sunroof, and leather trimmed bucket seats. The optional Night Edition adds 22-inch Forged-Aluminum wheels, blacked-out exterior and black interior accents.
If you want to go all out, the Ram 1500 Tungsten offers the best of the lineup, including 22-inch wheels, multi-function tailgate, 14.4 Uconnect5 infotainment screen, premium leather bucket seats, and premium air-ride suspension.
While the Ram 1500 offers excellent ride comfort and cabin amenities, its towing capacity is slightly lower than competitors like the Chevrolet Silverado and Ford F-150. Ram offers a standard 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty and 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
