Take a look at ten of the coolest cars that wrestling superstar turned actor John Cena has ever owned.
John Cena is one of the few modern-day celebrities that we’ve seen take a professional wrestling career and turn it into something much larger. As a result, he’s used some of the fame and fortune he’s gained to create a wild car collection as many celebrities do. Most of these rides seem to be long since gone from his garage but the list is something any car lover can appreciate even if it’s nowhere near as epic as someone like Jay Leno’s collection.

Of all the cars John Cena has ever owned perhaps none are as famously linked to him as his 2017 Ford GT. When the automaker sold these cars through a special program that required dealers to deliver the cars at MSRP, owners had to agree to keep the car for no less than two years.
Cena famously shirked this responsibility and flipped it almost immediately. Naturally, that wasn’t something Ford could overlook so they sued the celebrity for going back on the contract. The two parties ultimately settled out of court. Cena not only paid Ford but issued a statement saying “I love the Ford GT and apologize to Ford, and encourage others who own the car to respect the contract.”

Cena owned a gorgeous 1969 Camaro for some time before it went up for sale in 2016. While some have claimed that it’s one of the famous COPO examples, that seems unlikely. Not only did the auction house Mecum not list it as a COPO but it seems ever so slightly too old to be one as well. Nevertheless, it does come with its original 425 hp V8 engine, power disc brakes, a chambered exhaust, and a four-speed manual transmission.

The 1970 Plymouth Superbird is a legendary car for many reasons. Cena owns one in its most famous color too, Vitamin C Orange. It, like so many other cars in his collection evidently makes 425 hp. This time though, those ponies are crafted by a 7.0-liter V8 with a top speed of 150 mph.

The 1970 Buick GSX features a massive 7.5-liter V8 with just 350 hp and about 510 lb-ft of torque. It’s one of those muscle cars that truly bookend the generation. Cena’s example is finished in yellow with black accents. When new it could do 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 116 mph.

Of all the cars Cena owns, his 1966 Dodge HEMI Charger is one of the few he’s been photographed with. It leverages a 426-cubic-inch engine with 425 hp and rests inside of stunning black bodywork. Keep in mind that this year of the Charger doesn’t look like the classic shape from 1969. Instead, it has the front end from the Coronet with a tapered rear end.

This version of the Corvette ZR1 was a return to form for the model and signaled its future at the same time. It came with a supercharged 6.2 liter V8 that pumps out 638 hp. It features a top speed just north of 200 mph and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.4 seconds. Cena’s personal car was the 73rd produced and he’s since sold it.

Cena says that his ownership of an old Jeep Wrangler will never end. Evidently, it reminds him of his roots and had some 80,000 miles on the odometer when he bought it. Known for its reliability and ruggedness, the Wrangler is likely tough enough to outlive even the strongest men.

This 2009 Lamborghini features a 5.2-liter V10, 552 hp, and all-wheel drive. Cena was at least the second owner of the car and then put it up for sale in late 2017 for just $145,000. The exterior features Verde Scandal green paint and a green/yellow interior mixed with Nero Perseus (gray) accents. It’s a bold and bright bull to say the least.

Cena still owned his 2006 Ford GT as of late 2017 but it also has incredibly low mileage. It’s finished in dark grey with just about every single option available at the time. That includes the McIntosh sound system, the red brake calipers, and the forged alloy wheels.

Built by the folks at Parker Brothers, this futuristic car is basically a C7 Corvette with a wild body kit on it. There’s no word on exactly what sort of performance this car is capable of though reports suggest that it houses a stock 5.5-liter Corvette V8 under the hood.
Crafted for the Gumball 3000 rally, Cena apparently asked for a car that looked as though it belonged in the year 3,000. We’re not sure if it checks that box but it’s certainly a unique creation no matter how you slice it.
Where’s his type r at tho?
