2022 Chrysler Pacifica Powertrain
Making 287 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque, the standard 3.6L Pentastar V6 is mated to a 9-speed automatic that routes power to the front wheels. For about $3000, AWD can be added to Touring L trim and above with the ability to route 100% of available torque to the rear wheels.
Plug-in hybrid models, which are only available in FWD, tack on a pair of electric motors powered by a 16 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack for a combined 260 horsepower. This hybrid option, which sets the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica apart from competition like the new Kia Carnival, can run in all-electric mode and automatically switch to gas power as required.
2022 Chrysler Pacifica Fuel Economy & MPG
Regardless of powertrain, the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica boasts a range of over 500 miles. Gas-powered models are rated for 19 mpg in city driving and 28 mpg on the highway. Entertainment & Technology
The big tech upgrade over a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is Amazon Fire TV integration, which allows, amongst other things, streaming of Prime Video on the front and available rear screens.
